Coaching is a way of life, and it’s been my way of life for nearly 20 years. The core of how I work is to coach people on a one to one basis or on a group scale. And for me coaching means supporting my clients to realise their true potential and therefore their unique success and get the results they want at work and in their life. I also compete at the top level in K9 Obedience, which keeps me at the cutting edge of performance so I can really help you.
Because I’m a former qualified nurse, NHS Manager, Management Consultant, and now a Master Trainer in Executive Coaching, a designer of learning experiences, and a K9 sports performance coach you will receive coaching and training that is:
- professional (using my 17 years of professional experience before 2007, and my extensive coaching, training, dog sport experience since then.)
- practical (so you can get the results you want.)
- personal (I take a keen and personal interest in you, and I am available to you before, during, and after your coaching sessions)
- perceptive (I quickly spot what’s working and what’s getting in your way).
As a leader in helping people explore their edges my clients include coaches, teachers, medical educators, young entrepreneurs, the NHS, and coaches of elite canine athletes.
What interests me is creating situations in which we can observe ourselves, each other, and the patterns that emerge. This is one reason I deliberately seek out challenging experiences myself.
As I write this, I am preparing for the UK’s KC competitive obedience championships – competing at the top of the sport with my Golden Retriever, Berty, alongside the best dog trainers in the country (if not the world).
Training for this level of competition pushes me beyond my comfort zone. Not because I enjoy the challenge quite as much as some people imagine.
But because going to the edge teaches me things.
And if I invite others to explore their own edges, I believe I should be willing to do the same.
So if you want some inspiration, coaching to realise your dreams, a kick up the backside, someone to listen to you non-judgementally you can book me for a Zoom online one to one session or join me for outdoor coaching at my centre in Old Basing, Hampshire. You may want to some or all of your sessions this way.
