Hi, I’m Angela, (aka Mellow Dog Mumma), trainer of coaches, mother of Goldens, travelling the UK to walk the dogs round in circles.

Since 2010 I’ve helped thousands of people like you make BIG changes in their lives and be better coaches. When I left my leadership role in the NHS to become a full time coach 16 years ago, I travelled the world learning my craft. I learned from some of the best coaches in the industry. I learned a mixed bag of coaching and questioning approaches. Some of it was beautiful. Some of it wasn’t. Fairly early on, I was invited to be a Principal Trainer for a leading Coaching and Mentoring Company. Life was good. But I always felt there was something wrong with me because I found coaching models too restrictive, and I could never settle on a ‘Niche’ for my business. And then I embraced my multipotentialite mind. These days I draw on an extensive repertoire of approaches to deliver transformative coaching retreats for experienced coaches looking for a fresh perspective, and those who are new to coaching hoping to build their practice. I also work with a small number of ambitious, multi-passionate, creative humans to achieve their personal and professional goals.

“I’ve opened my eyes to possibilities way beyond my ken”

I had the great good fortune to be trained and mentored by Angela on a series of courses. Angela is wise, experienced, and inspirational.

She not only teaches her craft meticulously but provokes people to exceed their personal boundaries, think for themselves, and go beyond the confines of the subject to gain deeper insights, broader horizons, and greater self-awareness.

I cannot think of a higher accolade than to say Angela has opened my eyes to possibilities way beyond my ken.

We might love each other a lot if…

  • you love nature, animals, and spending time outdoors.
  • you are a person with many interests, passions, and creative pursuits who enjoys integrating them all into your life in practical sustainable ways.
  • you have an unconventional background, you relish fresh perspectives and you have a unique contribution to offer the world.
  • you believe work and learning should be fun and you don’t take yourself or your life too seriously
  • you reject the pressure to fit yourself into a narrow mould and believe in making the world a more accepting, inclusive, creative, and authentic place.
  • you love learning and are naturally curious and open to new ideas.

Coaching can be intuitive and creative.

Most coaches know how to tap. Very few know where to tap.

“I got happy”

“Angela, you gave me the kick up the backside I needed. You wouldn’t believe how radical I’ve been since you very skilfully put me into a deep, reflective, headspace. I changed my life: new career, new business, relocation, lost loads of weight. I got happy. ”

Please be patient; it’s just me (Angela) and the dogs on the other side, and the dogs are just not that helpful with email.

If you’re trying to contact me to talk about the possibility of us working together, probably best use the message thingy below.

Please don’t message me for free tips, advice, to pick my brains, or bounce your ideas off me. I offer one-on-one Pick My Brain sessions for £97 which you can book using the form below.

Marketing your business and finding clients is not my gig. If you need help with that, go see Marketing For Hippies or Jonny Hates Marketing.

You can find me personally on Facebook here

I’m on LinkedIn so you can contact me there.

I do a bit on Instagram now and then, here.

And you never know, we might even bump into each other in real life.

To explain how The Paddock came to be, I’ll have to braid together these FIVE THREADS.

  1. A Light Approach – One day, I had an insight and realised that when I took myself, my dog training, or my business too seriously, things seemed way harder, and would go way worse. As this insight filtered through my life I realised that a light hearted approach was way more fun, and way more effective, and I started to feel good about my life and myself.
  2. Lifestyle First – When I first met the good Alex Baisley, he said something really smart…start with the lifestyle you want then back your business into that. Too many start coaching businesses and then struggle to get the quality of life they wanted in the first place.
  3. Declutter Your Mind. A quiet mind transforms overwhelm into enthusiasm, productivity, and action. The quieter our minds, the more we can hear our inner wisdom and become more aligned with what we really want…from the inside out.
  4. Spend Time Outdoors – I love spending time outdoors watching the dogs play. It increases my energy, nurtures my spirit, and helps me and my clients connect with the nature around us and within us. Nature is very beautiful.
  5. Set The Intention To Feel Good– with no other outcome in mind. Don’t try too hard. Not only will you experience the joy of living, you’ll feel pleasantly surprised as your wildest dreams begin to come true.

Love life, Angela & the Golden Boys 🙂 x
