Ethical outdoor Competitive Obedience Lessons To Help Dogs & their Owners Love Their incredible life together.

Positively reinforced with praise, play, and rewards.

I believe dog training is not just about developing skills and behaviour.

It’s a beautiful creative expression of who you and your dog are. It celebrates the special connection you share. This connection inspires your incredible adventures together.

That means training should feel good for both you and your dog. To do that, it has to be positively reinforcing for everyone involved.

Positively reinforcing is why WYGULMUT advocates ethical, force free, competitive obedience training at our own outdoor training paddock in Aldermaston.

I’m offering up some Video Reviews for £30 each.

Over the past decade I’ve judged hundreds of competitive teams.

Some people I work with are just getting started in Obedience and don’t know what they don’t know yet. Some know there’s something they need to improve but can’t put their finger on what it is, and others send me their videos with pride, not realising the mistakes they’re making.

Some people’s dogs are incredibly good but they don’t see the potential that I see.

Some people have multiple dogs and make the same mistakes with all of them.

Of course you could just ask your friends or random competitors to take a look. But one thing my experience of training dogs for competition has taught me, it’s best to get an opinion from an experienced trainer who knows how to give feedback honestly, constructively, and respectfully, whether that’s me or someone else.

Here’s how your video review works.

Step 1. You send me a short 3 – 5 minute video of a competitive obedience round or exercise you’d like feedback on.

Step 2. Within 2 weeks, you’ll get an audio file from me in your inbox. I’ll share every thought I have and the most helpful feedback I can muster. I’ll discuss what’s strong, what’s weak, and next steps you can take. The audio will last around 4 mins.
